How to make an iPhone 4 with iOS 4.3.3 and above (with a Vodafone network) a personal hotspot?

Note: You need to have a GPRS or 3G plan active to use your phone as a wifi hotspot.

1) Go to Settings--> General --> Network --> Cellular Data Network --> Change the APN name of the internet tethering option to "www".

2) Switch off your phone and switch it on.

3)You will get an option called personal hotspot under settings. Just enable it and use the password there as the password for Wifi when asked for in the neighbouring devices.


Simple. Now you can use your phone's 3G connection on your PC.
