Holidays AGAIN..

An indefinite closure of colleges has been ordered in our state and so it's time for another vacation! The reason for that is not to condemn Sri Lanka's military action but to avoid student protests for the LTTE !

Hostels have also been asked to be vacated and I just hope that I get a holiday for atleast a week. I was supposed to have my assessments this week and now I've to wait to see as to when it will be postponed to. I'm doubly happy for the holidays, although my heart goes out to all those civilians who've been killed in this war.

In CNN-IBN, the headline went as such, "TN still tense" . I was aghast at seeing that, cos there wasn't even a single protest in Chennai and the Govt had ordered for the closure of all colleges!! Or did they mean Tennessee by writing TN.. Funny news channels!

Anyways, I'm not complaining as long as it's a holiday :P

P.S: If you wanna know more about the war, I would recommend this post by Keshi
