Banes of having a pirated Windows XP

My Tiny XP Service Pack 2 suddenly crashed yesterday and I had no XP cd. I had also formatted my hard disk by mistake. I was left in the lurch as none of my friends had a proper Windows XP SP2 cd. All I could do was try out the discs I had! And to my surprise, none of them really worked! Finally, I got a CD and it worked fine but there were few flaws like the interface was really slow! I got another CD from my friend and used the automatically genuine-ing Windows XP and finally I'm back on the net! I've been suffering without my system because of this problem for a few days now!


Since I had some basic knowledge on how to install Windows, it was fine and ended without any money being spent! Otherwise it would've been the exact same way as in the microsoft ad where a horse keeps running and stopping in the race and every time the horse stops, the jockey has to get down and dance in front of it for it to run again!!

So, I've decided to get a Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 officially from Microsoft as soon as I start earning and hopefully that's soon.
