Football isn't that common out here in India but after a few days of watching the Euro 2008,(where my favourites are Germany) we decided to cash in on the football fever by practising some football at the nights.. There's a walking path near my place where it is quite free at the nights.. I found a lot of enthusiastic friends who agreed with the idea and there were nearly 20 guys who fought it out under the lights for more than and hour and personally I played quite well too..(not boasting but still, I hit the only goal for my team).. The match was won by us and all of them were sooo sweaty.. Yuk!! And we all had a small party for winning..
And yea, I caught up with the movie Dasavatharam and was just spell bound by his hard work and effort!! Sure it's going to be one real big box office hit.. The tsunami scenes were brilliantly created but it still looked a lil graphic! Otherwise the movie was jus too good!
I use to write daily on football on my blog. But since last Saturday I stopped it. I missed some matches also.
ReplyDeleteI did the link exchange. It's your turn now ;)
That's so funny, because I have been playing soccer for the past week now with my friends. Ocasionally it goes in the road and one of us has to dart out between traffic to get it back, and yes---we get sweaty too.
ReplyDeleteI'm okay with the kicking it past people and doing stupid tricks, but I can't score goals. The best thing I like is punting.
happy monday! parking here for a while..hope to see u at mine! take care!
ReplyDeleteI like to now more about football players and what the sport means to you and how you feel the sports ranks throughout the entire world. More and more I am meeting friends who are really into "soccer." It may truly out-class American Football quite soon.
ReplyDeleteI would love to exchange links with you. I think readers of my blog will enjoy linking with your blog. Let's do it!
