You would have noticed that Google and Yahoo decided to go green yesterday!! I was just wondering why this sudden change and after extensive research, I came to know that it was Earth day yesterday!! Damn.. These days I don't even update myself with whatever is special about a day!! Anyways... Belated Earth day wishes and yea, let us spread it's fame across the world so that everyone becomes aware of it atleast by next year.
Personal appeal:
I feel that we, as bloggers, definitely have a responsibility on making people aware of the important days. If you really would like the earth to be a better planet & if you are a true blogger at heart, write a post and create awareness about the "Earth day"!
Earth day...there are so many days, that we keep losing track of them. Anyways, as long as there's something which creates awareness about keeping our planet green and clean, such days are welcome. All other days are useless as of now. Nice blog!
ReplyDeleteEarth day around the world is an interesting thing to think about. When I lived in Pakistan, it was a big deal and every (educated) person celebrated it. Here in the US, I'll bet that 80% of the population doesn't even know that there is an Earth Day... and another 15% probably doesn't know what month it's in.

I saw "Indian Recipes". I thought great, I love cooking!
But there was no recipe to be found...
