Dec 1st was my sweet sister's birthday and this was her 1st decade into existence! So, this year we planned to do something special for her and we headed to Pondicherry on Nov 28th to my granny's place! If you didn't know, my granny runs a home for the mentally challenged, Jwala! We had planned for a birthday party on the 30th of November, so that she can come back to school on 1st December and have another party at school (but it was not to be, cos of the heavy rains here)..
This is what threatened to cancel our trip (The view of the clouds from our balcony)
We had a small pit stop, to take a few photos which I thought would be amazing! Btw, I drove the car all the way to Pondicherry and back!
These were the pics I wanted to take during the pitstop! From far, it looked like a volcanic mountain spewing ash!
This was in the next pitstop where I found an area marooned by floods! Looked like it was abandoned!
On reaching at my grandma's place, we had a thunderous response! All these kids are so enthusiastic and friendly!

She had a treadmill at her place! I couldn't keep my hands of it( or should it be legs)!
The work had started for the grand party in my grandma's Jwala! A lot of thanks to all the tireless volunteers!
After a tough day, it was time for a dinner outside!!
And then to the famous Pondicherry beach! It was one awesome place! The waves were lashing at the coast very very fiercely!
This board was caught by my cam even though it was not the original target! Nice message though!
Aww.. This was the best part! My mom got us a surprise birthday gift! :) It's a Japanese Spitz and one sweet creature!
That's my sister all dressed up for her birthday celebrations! Dress credits go to my aunt, who's one excellent tailor and the drawings in it was drawn by my cuz, who's an extroardinary artist!

That huge banner had a lot of work put into it! Thanks to everyone who had worked on it!
The aeroplane cake which symbolized she was 10 and she was ready to fly! Btw, my name was also mentioned cos my b'day falls on Dec 6th as well and it's my 20th birthday!!!
Everyone's eager for the cake to arrive! You won't believe it, but they are far more organised than we are!
Finally the cake's on the table and my sister's ready to fly!!
Aww..! Love them all!

P.S: My birthday's coming up as well on Dec 6th, it's my twentieth!! And I just noticed that my blog had completed it's 1st anniversary as well!!
So there are lots of things to celebrate about!!:):)
