I'll let the pics I took talk, and here they are..
A very normal pic with the auto resolution! I could see the halo in the LCD display but when I transferred it to the PC, it's gone!

After a lot of adjusting my Samsung Just a Click 7MP digital camera, which is not all that clear!! I had to manually keep the ISO at 400 to get this shot! So there you have it, they halo around the moon!!
