I registered on Vodafone's website for their latest offering, The Apple Iphone 3G. I thought it would be priced at the equivalent of it's foreign counterparts which are priced at 199$ (appx. 8000Rs.) for the 8gb model and 299$(appx. 12000Rs.) for the 16gb model, and so was eagerly expecting the phone to be launched in India! Now, the date of release has been confirmed and it is on Aug 22nd! But the prices came as an unexpected shock, they were priced at around 31,000Rs. for the 8gb model and 37,000Rs. for the 16gb model. Now, I've officially dropped it from my phone cart!
