Really shocking news :( with a happy ending!

My grandma, whom I've mentioned before as the person who runs Jwala, the home for the mentally challenged, has been suffering from diabetes. Recently, she hurt her toe and didn't care much about it and it didn't heal and it got infected. The doctor had asked her to get her toe removed by surgery and it came as a shock to my whole family. She's my mom's mom and my mom started crying uncontrollably. I dropped her in the odd hours of the night to meet my granny and came back home.

Today was supposed to be the actual surgery date and my granny was on the surgery table, when the doctors checked her toe infection and cleaned it up and told her to be under observation, instead of removing the toe, and also told her to be careful. This was put to my knowledge every few minutes by my ever efficient mom through messages. I must say I must've been the hapiest person when news came that her toe wasn't being removed. And while coming back, my granny rang me up herself and told me, "Jesus would never let me down" or something like that. Even though 'm a person with atheistic views, I simply couldn't turn that statement down! If it was Jesus who saved my granny's toe, I'm really really thankful to him!

Wish my grandma recovers soon....
